Kinderen van de Holocaust

Joost Jansen/ JJ studio made the titel sequence and an animated sequence for every episode of "Children of the Holocaust" (Kinderen van de Holocaust). "Children of the Holocaust" is part of "Children of" where CANVAS sheds light on the history and consequences of the 2nd World War in Belgium by giving a voice to the children of the different parties.

With their minimal aesthetics and consistent approach, the animations give the series a strong visual identity and make the narration more layered. throughout the different episodes the animated sequences make sharp, symbolic and metaphoric summaries of what the different characters have told.
