Walking Splatter
Like liquid metal leaping away into the darkness,
a splattering trail of shapeshift and light.
When it comes to rest, it shrinks to something small,
a silent remnant of what once could have been.
A stately piece of nothingness ... is not something we are supposed to be.
The Walking Splatter is a paean to movement,
the beauty that lies in the possible.
